Originally established in 1985, today CapQuest employs nearly 350 professionals, operating from 3 offices across the UK – from Scotland to the South of England – and in Cape Town, South Africa.

CapQuest consists of a group of operating companies that work together to manage the debt purchase and debt recovery process. Our affiliates include CapQuest Debt Recovery, CapQuest Investments and CapQuest Asset Management. CapQuest’s Portfolio Acquisition Group purchases debt portfolios for our own account. We are one of the UK’s leading purchasers of sub-performing consumer debt. We also manage significant debt portfolios on a commission fee basis for several of the UK’s leading financial institutions, utilities and consumer credit companies.

Currently, CapQuest manages over £2 billion of debt portfolios on an annual basis and maintains relationships with over 75 regular clients including most of the UK’s largest consumer credit providers. We value the longevity of our client relationships, many of whose debt we have serviced since our inception.
